Are you passionate about crunching numbers and have a keen eye for detail? Our dynamic finance team is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. You will be responsible for managing our accounts payable ledger, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in our financial operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
2. Collaborate with the property management team to ensure accurate and timely payment of expenses.
3. Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files.
4. Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable general ledger accounts.
5. Assist in the preparation of financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
6. Prepare documents for audits, including gathering and organizing invoices, purchase orders, and payment authorizations.
7. Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies.
8. Review purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
9. Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.

Qualifications:

1. 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable or similar role within the finance industry.
2. Proven experience with Accounts Payable Invoicing, property management, reconciling accounts, financial reporting, audit preparation, and purchase orders.
3. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
6. Experience with accounting software and databases.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service orientation.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
