Job Details

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Accurately processing invoices and ensuring that all transactions are appropriately documented.
2. Managing vendor relationships and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
3. Reconciling accounts payable transactions and preparing analysis of accounts.
4. Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
5. Assisting with month-end closing procedures and producing monthly reports.
6. Maintaining accurate historical records by filing documents electronically.
7. Participating in financial audits by providing auditors with necessary documents and explanations.
8. Identifying and implementing improvements to the accounts payable process to increase efficiency and accuracy.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the automotive or finance industry.
2. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service orientation.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
