Job Details:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our fast-paced medical industry team. This is a permanent position that involves managing all activities in the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payables, maintaining compliance with financial policies and procedures, and managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with specific expertise in 3 Way Match, GAAP, Reconciliation, and Netsuite.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations for the accounts payable department, including invoice processing, payment processing, and employee expense reimbursements.
• Ensure all accounts payable activities are conducted in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage the 3 Way Match process to verify invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare analysis of accounts.
• Maintain vendor files and relationships, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
• Review and approve all payment requests, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Manage month-end closing of accounts payable records and provide accurate financial reporting.
• Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to improve the accounts payable process.
• Train and mentor accounts payable staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
• Use Netsuite or equivalent accounting software to manage and track accounts payable data.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Manager role, preferably in the medical industry.
• Strong knowledge of 3 Way Match, GAAP, Reconciliation, and Netsuite or equivalent accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of the medical industry and its unique financial needs and challenges.
