We are on the hunt for an experienced and dynamic Accounts Payable Manager to join our vibrant team in the construction industry. This is a permanent, hybrid position that offers a blend of remote and on-site work. As our Accounts Payable Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Overseeing the accounts payable department and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing of invoices, and implementation of the company's financial policies.
2. Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, specifically in relation to the 3-way match process.
3. Assisting with internal audits and implementing and maintaining robust internal controls.
4. Job costing within the construction industry, ensuring that all costs are accurately recorded and allocated.
5. Assisting with system upgrades, ensuring that our financial systems remain up-to-date and effective.
6. Collaborating with other departments to streamline processes, improve financial reporting, and assist with financial planning and analysis.
7. Preparing and presenting reports on the status of accounts payable to senior management.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Manager role or a similar position.
2. Experience in job costing within the construction or manufacturing industry is essential.
3. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Acumatica, Foundations, and Microsoft Excel.
4. Demonstrated ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently.
5. Experience assisting with internal audits and implementing and maintaining internal controls.
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to oversee and motivate a team.
7. Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to high levels of accuracy.
8. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Knowledge of current financial regulations and industry trends.
