Our client has been helping the injured and wronged for over 16 years throughout the nation in personal injury, insurance claims, and mass tort litigation. They have developed a specialty in trucking litigation and traumatic brain injury cases.

Responsibilities:

1. Reviewing and processing a high volume of vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
2. Obtaining necessary approvals for invoices and expense reports to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
3. Entering and managing invoice data in the accounting system, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
4. Reconciling vendor statements, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
5. Responding to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner, maintaining positive vendor relationships.
6. Collaborating with other team members to complete tasks and contribute to the department's goals.
7. Assisting with monthly and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the legal industry.
3. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
4. Excellent data entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy and speed.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify discrepancies in data.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, for effective vendor communication.
7. The ability to work well under pressure, managing a high volume of invoices and meeting tight deadlines.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
9. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
