Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. Our ideal candidate holds a finance degree (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses) and is familiar with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks and Paychex.

Responsibilities:

* Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
* Process Accounts Payable through Quickbooks Online
* Reconcile bank statements
* Process payroll using Paychex
* Prepare monthly P&L's for the various locations
* Act as the primary company liaison for benefits
* Handle new employee onboarding
* Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
* Comply with financial policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Proven bookkeeping experience.
2. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
3. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
4. Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
5. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
6. Proficiency in MS Office.
7. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
8. BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
9. 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
10. Experience with QuickBooks Online and Paychex is a must.
11. Experience with general ledger functions.
12. Strong knowledge of GAAP.
13. Experience with financial reporting and budgeting.
14. Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate complex data into concrete business solutions.
15. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
16. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
