Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and implementing financial policies and procedures. This position offers an excellent opportunity for leadership and high-level strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, supervisory experience, and a deep understanding of financial principles and practices. Experience in the healthcare industry is preferable.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
2. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations.
3. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
4. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate financial data to stakeholders for strategic decision-making.
5. Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
6. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
7. Interact with various departments and assist in financial decision making.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
9. Ensure compliance with all internal policies, relevant regulations, and industry guidelines.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Five or more years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting and a proven track record of working with complex financial data.
4. Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel and financial reporting tools.
5. Exceptional leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
9. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Experience in healthcare industry is a strong plus.
