Job Details

The law firm is currently in search of a skilled Accounts Manager to oversee all financial operations and functions. This position is a senior administrative role and will directly report to the Office Manager, with close collaboration with the firm’s Executive Committee. The Accounts Manager will lead the Firm’s Bookkeeping Department, offering guidance, training, and support to department personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Oversight:

Direct and maintain responsibility for all financial functions within the Firm.
Ensure the integrity and enhancement of the firm’s financial practices.
Collaborate effectively with financial institutions, auditors, and CPAs.

Internal Financial Controls:

Evaluate, implement, and support the effectiveness of internal financial controls.
Assist in implementing financial and business tactics aligned with the Firm’s strategic plan.

Cash Management and Financial Operations:

Oversee cash management, billing, collections, vendor payments, payroll, and retirement plan issues.
Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

Department Management:

Optimize the performance of the Bookkeeping Department.
Ensure accurate handling of daily transactions and maintain excellent customer service standards.

Personnel Management:

Recruit, train, evaluate, and develop Bookkeeping Department staff.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct timely financial analyses to provide insights on business transactions and strategic initiatives.
Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and statements to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
Proven experience in financial management and leadership roles.
Strong understanding of internal financial controls and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in financial software and MS Office suite.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
