Are you ready to take your finance career to the next level? We are in search of a skilled, enthusiastic, and dedicated Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position in the Finance industry, providing an opportunity to work with a highly skilled team of professionals. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in our company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with best practices and legal regulations.

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the monitoring of Unapplied and Trust Balances as well as Unbilled WIP.
2. Supervising the monthly bank reconciliations process for Operating and Trust accounts.
3. Managing the company's general ledger and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
4. Leading and supervising a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
5. Developing, implementing, and maintaining effective financial strategies and practices.
6. Preparing and presenting financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
7. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards.
8. Collaborating with other departments to streamline operations and improve financial efficiency.
9. Utilizing Aderant software to optimize accounting and financial tasks.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager position will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Finance industry.
2. Previous experience in a law firm is highly desirable.
3. A strong understanding and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial accounting.
4. Proficiency in managing general ledger activities.
5. Proven experience in overseeing unapplied and trust balances, unbilled WIP, and bank reconciliations for operating and trust accounts.
6. Proficiency with Aderant software.
7. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
8. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
9. Strong communication and presentation skills.
10. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or similar certification is preferred.
