Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our accounting department, including financial reporting, tax planning, and budget management. The successful candidate will also play a key role in the development and implementation of financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of our company. Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including monthly financial close process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
3. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
4. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
5. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
6. Support month-end and year-end close process.
7. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
8. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
9. Develop internal control guidelines, policies and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit management, administration, and other activities.
10. Coordinate and manage company audits.
11. Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field.
4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Proven experience with financial reporting, tax planning, budget management, and financial analysis.
6. Experience with SaaS companies is a plus.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel, Pivot Tables, V-lookups).
8. Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
9. Strong knowledge of internal controls and financial reporting.
10. Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
12. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
13. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
14. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
