Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager who is ready to take on new challenges in the fast-paced hospitality industry. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, analyzing complex financial records and reports, and maintaining a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results.

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
2. Performing account reconciliations and generating financial reports for senior management.
3. Leading the audit process, liaising with external auditors, and ensuring that procedures are in place for compliance with laws and regulations.
4. Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results.
5. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
6. Developing, implementing, and maintaining CAPEX budgets.
7. Coordinating activities of external auditors and providing required support.
8. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. An advanced degree or professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CGA, or CFA) is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
3. Proven knowledge and expertise in account reconciliations, CAPEX budgets, financial reporting, audit, and annual budget.
4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
6. Proficient in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
7. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
8. Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office.
