Job Title: Accounting Manager
Compensation: $70k-$90k/year and bonus
Reports to: CFO
Location: Lakeshore, CA

We are seeking an Accounting Manager who is passionate about financial excellence, adept at leading a team, and eager to contribute to the success of a well-known winter resort.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, and procedures for ticket sales, receiving and accounting for all cash and credit card sales.
• Supervise and participate in the preparation of various financial statements and reports.
• Direct the installation and maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.
• Direct the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, operating expenses and insurance records.
• Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
• Coordinate preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
• Establish system controls for new accounting systems and develop procedures to improve existing systems.
• Review financial statements with management personnel.
• Manage the Accounting Supervisor and oversee supervision of all accounting clerks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• At least two years of related experience.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP).
• Must be bondable and have the ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
