Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-performance work environment, while handling the company's financial operations.

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Manager, your core responsibilities will be:

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

2. Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of the accounting system.

3. Review and analyze financial data and report on financial performance, trends, and budget variances.

4. Implement and monitor internal controls over financial transactions and reporting.

5. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulatory rules and guidelines.

6. Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.

7. Provide leadership and support to accounts payable and accounts receivable teams.

8. Work closely with the finance team to enhance and streamline financial processes and systems.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of financial accounting/general ledger experience.

3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role.

4. Proficient knowledge of accounting software, MS Excel, and other business-related software.

5. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

6. Proven experience in managing the month-end close process, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

7. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a team.

8. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

9. Superior written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

10. CPA certification is preferred but not required.
