Accounting Manager

One of the largest Media and Entertainment Companies in the US. We are comprised of 4 business units: Radio, TV, Entertainment (events) and Digital. The radio division is the second largest Hispanic radio group in the US, and owns and operates 20 radio stations located in the largest and most important markets - NYC, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Chicago and Puerto Rico.

We are growing and looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Managing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial reporting is completed accurately and on time.
• Developing and implementing effective accounting policies and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management, providing valuable insights into the company's financial performance.
• Collaborating with the leadership team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Liaising with external auditors and managing the audit process.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification would be advantageous.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the marketing industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, including experience with the month-end close process.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
