Job Details

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting and HR Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions as well as providing support in various HR-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks and possess strong multitasking abilities to effectively manage both accounting and HR responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and financial reporting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks software.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax requirements.
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
Assist with HR administrative tasks, including employee record-keeping, benefits administration, and HR documentation.
Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and assisting with candidate screening.
Assist in employee relations activities and provide support in resolving HR-related issues.
Stay informed about relevant accounting and HR laws, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in accounting and/or HR roles.
**MUST HAVE a strong background of creating and reading financial reports and helping with budgeting and forecasting!
Proficiency in QuickBooks software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Familiarity with HR processes and regulations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

**This is a contract to hire position.
