Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This vital role will be responsible for managing the financial health of our organization by administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements. Our ideal candidate is a certified public accountant (CPA) with a strong background in creating and analyzing financial statements. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and control the general ledger and sub-ledgers to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
2. Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual operating results for each department.
3. Prepare financial outlooks and financial forecasts in collaboration with the executive team.
4. Work with external auditors and provide needed support for external audits.
5. Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up support.
6. Monitor the financial performance of the company and compare to goals.
7. Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
8. Document and interpret complex financial information for managers, executives, and C-Suite executives.
9. Advise management on tax ramifications of business decisions.
10. Analyze company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets.

Qualifications:

1. Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.
3. Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant.
5. Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
6. Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
7. Excellent administration skills.
8. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
11. Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
12. Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.
13. High integrity with an unwavering commitment to ethical behavior.
