We are looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, as well as assisting with various accounting projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, preferably in the construction industry. Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements to resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and send customer invoices and statements for accounts receivable.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments.
• Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support accounting projects such as process improvements and system implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, preferably in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with QuickBooks is a plus).
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits:
