Seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Controller to join our dynamic team. As the Assistant Controller, you will work closely with the Controller and other departments to ensure the financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and payroll, with experience in inventory management, tax, audits, and more.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the company's financial records, including monthly closing procedures and financial statement preparation.
• Oversee the Accounts Receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections.
• Manage the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employees.
• Assist in managing the company's inventory, including physical counts and reconciliations.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in the coordination of audits and other financial reviews.
• Provide financial analysis and support to other departments as needed.
• Continuously look for ways to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
• Experience with payroll and inventory management.
• Experience with tax compliance and audits.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
