We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and experienced Permanent Account Executive - Commercial Lines to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and growing our commercial lines portfolio and providing exceptional service to our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment, with a focus on driving the growth and profitability of our commercial insurance lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to target potential clients, identify their needs, and propose suitable insurance solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and risks, and providing expert advice on insurance and risk management solutions.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate policy terms, conditions, and pricing.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals and reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast with industry trends, market conditions, and changes in insurance regulations to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members and contribute to the team's overall success.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, specifically in an account executive or similar role.
  • Proficiency in EPIC or equivalent insurance software is required.
  • A strong understanding of commercial insurance products, underwriting procedures, and risk management solutions.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with the ability to assess client needs and risks and propose suitable insurance solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • A professional designation in insurance (CPCU, CIC, CRM, etc.) is preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must have strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
