Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.
  • Inspect aircraft airframes and powerplants for any anomalies or defects using advanced techniques such as dye penetrant, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic testing.
  • Conduct comprehensive avionics troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Interpret and work from maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
  • Use Corridor software for maintenance tracking and inventory management.
  • Conduct eddy current testing to detect cracks and other potential issues in aircraft structures.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Interpret ATA codes and apply them correctly during maintenance and repair activities.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current industry trends, tools, and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.
  • Must be FAA Certified.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an A&P Mechanic.
  • Preferred experience with corporate jets or show that you have the knowledge and skills for the job.
  • Proficiency with Corridor software for maintenance and inventory tracking.
  • Solid understanding of avionics systems and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a range of testing methods, including dye penetrant, magnetic particle inspection, ultrasonic testing, and eddy current testing.
  • Familiarity with ATA and IPM codes and their application in aircraft maintenance and repair.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly and concisely.
